Genwave MCP connects Claude, Claude Code and other AI apps to the WordPress sites you manage with Genwave. They can look up your pages, posts and products and answer with your real content. Read only, on the Genwave Pro and Business plans.
https://mcp.genwave.ai/mcp
Anyone with a Genwave Pro or Business subscription and at least one WordPress site connected to Genwave. On the Free plan the sign-in screen shows the plans instead of a connection. You choose which sites each app may read, and you can disconnect it at any time.
https://mcp.genwave.ai/mcp and select Connect.claude mcp add --transport http genwave https://mcp.genwave.ai/mcp
Then run /mcp in Claude Code, choose genwave and Authenticate. Your browser opens the same Genwave sign-in.
Add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with the address above. Apps that support MCP sign-in open Genwave for you. Genwave identifies apps by their client metadata document or by dynamic client registration.
Four tools, all read only. None of them changes anything on your sites, and none uses Genwave AI credits.
| Tool | What it returns |
|---|---|
genwave_list_sites | The sites this connection may read, with the site_id the other tools take. |
genwave_get_site_context | A site's basics: name, address, language, WordPress version, theme, WooCommerce and Elementor, how many pages, posts and products are published, menus and categories. |
genwave_search_content | Published posts, pages and products matching words in the title or text, newest first without a query. Up to 50 results a call, with a cursor for the next page. |
genwave_get_item | One published post, page or product: title, address and text, up to 20,000 characters. |
Each subscription includes a monthly number of MCP requests, shared by all its connected apps and sites. It renews with the subscription. Requests that fail because a site can't be reached aren't counted. When most of the month's allowance is used, answers say how much is left; you can see it any time on AI Connections.
See the Genwave privacy policy for how data is stored and for how long.
Open AI Connections in your Genwave account and select Disconnect next to the app. It stops working right away. You can also remove the connector in the app itself.
